Sonnenberg Mansion and Gardens

Mary Thompson was very lucky, as well. While touring Europe, she heard about a special tulip show in the Netherlands, and decided to go to it, delaying her return. It was a good thing, as on April 15th, 1912, her ship sank. It was the Titanic.

A coyote and a bobcat pelt were draped over a high banister.

The curved banister was a graceful touch.

This was Mary’s bedroom.

Standing on the balcony, the gardens were on display and enticing.
